Welcome to the personal website of ChrisN, a crazy Canadian and self-proclaimed geek. ;)Anyways, the website remains for posterity, and because eventually on a rainy Vancouver day, I will update it some.
It also runs my email and some other projects. I still like this place!
My fullname is Chris Newby and I'm 31 years old, and I'm a Canadian who just moved back home to beautiful British Columbia, after six years in sunny Orange County, California. California was a great adventure/experience, but it's even better to be back home with my family. I love it here. I live here with my lovely wife Jenn, and our two amazing boys: Brian and David.
My skills are primarily web based: I design, maintain, and script web pages. I enjoy the outdoors with activities such as mountain biking, snow skiing, and overnight backpacking/hiking. I am also a photographer, which ties in very well with my interest in the outdoors. The .ca of www.chrisn.ca used to mean Canadian, but now it's short for California! :)

Perhaps you would like to check out some photographs from a recent adventure, our first family hike up into Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park, in November 2010, by heading to the Image Gallery? It was a very beautiful walk up through the canyon, on to the ridgeline and up to a viewpoint!
