Hello!
Welcome to the personal website of ChrisN, a student and self-proclaimed geek. ;)

My fullname is Chris Newby and I'm 26 years old, and I'm a Canadian now living in beautiful, sunny Orange County, California. I love it here. Lots of surf and sunshine, and it's always comfortable to go outside! My skills are primarily web based: I design, maintain, and script web pages. I enjoy the outdoors with activities such as mountain biking, snow skiing, and overnight backpacking/hiking. I am also a photographer, which ties in very well with my interest in the outdoors. The .ca of www.chrisn.ca used to mean Canadian, but now it's short for California! Smile! :)

Feel free to poke around. You can learn a little about what I'm interested in, and look at some photographs I've taken. There's also a very detailed look at the music I listen to. If you're here on a more professional level, my resume is available. And, as always, you can contact me. I don't bite.

Perhaps you would like to check out some photographs from my most recent adventure, a weekend trip through the meadows of Garibaldi, by heading to the Image Gallery? It was an amazing trip!
